It was created to promote a "Happening" show featuring The Immediate Family and Bering Strait, two fantastic local bands, on January 6th, around 1967 or 1968. The show took place at the C. V. Gym, likely the Castro Valley Gym. The poster was designed by Alan F. Kikuchi, known for creating posters in the East Bay Area. The artwork features a prominent baboon baring its teeth against a vibrant yellow and blue background on deep red. It measures 12" X 18" and is in excellent condition with some handling, corner bends, a small pen scribble at the bottom right, and some handling. This rare piece is quite possibly the only one in existence, as we have not seen another like it in over 30 years.

PLEASE NOTE:
All auctions will be subject to a 17.5% buyer's fee.
This fee will be automatically applied to the final auction price and shown during checkout if you are the winning bidder.

You must log into your RockPosters.Com account to bid in our auctions.
