In \u003cem\u003eWhat’s Wron\u003c\/em\u003eg (Kelsay Books, 2022), a longer sequence, the first-person narrator is a refugee from American marketing culture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFriedberg is completing a collection of photographs with corresponding texts, \u003cem\u003eThe Artist’s Reception,\u003c\/em\u003e the result of the black-and-white figure photography project he’s been working on for the past several years. The texts gradually reveal the story of the speaker and the ‘figure’ in the photos.
