The Type II C artillery observation tank has excellent mobility and protection capabilities. With its outstanding observation and communication capabilities, it provides accurate target information and tactical guidance for artillery units. It is usually deployed in front or on the flanks of front-line troops, responsible for monitoring enemy movements and identifying enemy firepower points.

The body adopts a quick-disassembly mode, and the internal structure is restored in detail. It has a two-person combat compartment and an engine compartment. A two-person combat compartment is built inside the vehicle, which can accommodate the driver and radio operator at the same time.

The rear of the body is the engine compartment, which has an engine inspection port for maintenance personnel to enter and exit. The turret hatch can be opened in both directions, which is convenient for information officers to observe the battlefield situation.

The Type II C artillery observation tank adopts a low body design and a streamlined turret, which not only reduces the probability of being discovered by the enemy, but also improves the off-road performance of the vehicle. The body surface is covered with heavy armor, which can effectively resist the attack of enemy light weapons.
