The Crown of the Sea, A Novel by Sara Salam (Paperback)

BOOK SUMMARY

Are you obsessed with the Royal Family? What if the Diana - Charles - Camilla love triangle took place in Newport Beach?

The Crown of the Sea reimagines the complicated love story of the most famous royal family in history, with a modern, beachy twist.

Narrated by the inner thoughts of Diana, Charles, and Camilla, each character shares their observations, hopes and fears while navigating the rules and relationships that are typical of the insular, wealthy world of Newport Beach. Family scandals, complicit affairs, and a whole lot of money mix with fancy mansions and glamorous yacht parties in a cocktail of drama and heartbreak. The setting offers a breathtaking escape while providing an inside look into a privileged group of people that call Newport home — people like Stephen King and the late Kobe Bryant, as well as the author herself.

"The Crown" meets "The O.C.” in this modern fan fiction about a complicated love triangle and three rich, flawed people trying to figure it out in one of the most beautiful beachside communities in the world.
